Lizards in the Rocks

My dad and I were riding our dirt bikes in the desert. We stopped to get a drink of water by a rock. I herd a hissing noise when I sat down. I turned around and there sat a huge lizard. The lizard was about 16 inches long. He was hissing like a crocodile would if it were mad. I took a picture so you could see it. When my dad and I got back to camp later that evening, I looked in my reptile book to see what kind of lizard it was. It was called a Chuckwalla.

I then left camp and went in to a layer of rocks and boy were there a lot of Chuckwallas. When I came out of the rocks my dad was ready to go. I was dreaming about those Chuckwallas for weeks.

The Awesome Reptile

This is a alligator lizard I found in my backyard in the bushes. It was fifteen inches long and one inch thick. My brothers thought it was the best thing ever. The alligator lizard is a very kind reptile to have as a pet.

Snake Country

Here is a checkered garter snake I caught in Texas on vacation. I saw him when we were walking along the side of our hotel. I love catching creatures.

The Ferocious Predator

Here is a alligator we saw on vacation last year. I saw him lying on the side of a mud bank. He was still as a rock. This alligator looked like he was three years old. I think gators are the best. Oh, if you catch an alligator keep far away from the part with teeth.

Desert Snakes

My dad, brothers, and I found this Gopher Snake in the desert. It was under a bush looking for lizards. It eats lizards, rodents, and birds. I love to catch creatures. Bye.

How Many Bees Do You See?

One day my parents, brothers, and I went on a hike with some friends and saw this bee hive. It was on a cut down tree on a trail. It is an amazing thing to see. I hope I don't get stung by all those bees. I hope I see these bees again. I will see you later.

The Amazing Bird

I was outside one day and saw a very pretty bird in my backyard on the bird feeder. It had a purple chest and a purple head. It was amazing. See you later.

The Angry Garter Snake

This is me holding a garter snake. He was about a foot long and very angry. He bit me like 20 times. Boy, I had bite marks all over me. I don't blame him for biting me. He bit me to protect himself. Who knows? Maybe I tasted sweet. I love catching snakes. Adios amigos.

Dirt Bike Brothers

This is a picture of my brothers and I riding dirt bikes. We all love riding dirt bikes. I am on the left, Josiah is in the middle, and Levi is on the right. My brother Levi is riding on a TTR 50 with training wheels. We all love riding dirt bikes so much we hardy want to stop.

Wheelie Rider

This is me riding on my dirt bike popping wheelies. My dirt bike is called a Honda 70. It is the best dirt bike you could ever get. My brothers and my dad have dirt bikes too. My brothers Josiah and Levi share their dirt bike. It is called a Yamaha 50. My dad's dirt bike is called a KTM 450. My brothers and I have our own dirt bike track. Man, when my dad rides on our track it gets dusty. Well that's it. Bye bye.

The Amazing Critter

This is a Knight Anole. These reptiles are very neat. They prefer to eat bugs and arachnids. Oh and they love to drink water from leaves and from tree bark . I think these anoles are very neat. These lizards can change colors from brown to green. They have yellow, green, and a hint of blue. Man, I love anoles. The End.

The Florida Cooter

This is a turtle we found in my friend's yard. I brought him into my yard and started feeding him food. He is a Florida Cooter. I call him Stretcher Neck. Turtles are very neat. Especially their shells. I like how they have stripes on their shells and faces. They are really neat to see. I love turtles. Bye bye.

The Giant Leopard Frog

This is my pet leopard frog. He is the biggest frog I have ever caught. He can jump 6 feet. I can't believe he can jump that far. I guess that is why they call them leopard frogs. Get it leopard... leap...pard ha ha.

Caleb's Racing Skink

This is my pet skink. I named him Racer. He is the fastest skink I have ever caught. His nick name is buzz skink, because that's the sound he made when I accidentally pinched his foot.

Green Anole

This is a Green Anole . I found him in my front yard . As you can see it is called a Green Anole because it is green . It has blue eyes, green skin, and a white belly. I love catching lizards. The End .

Baseball Lizard

This is my pet lizard. He is a Brown Anole. His name is Roller. When I put Roller on the ball it started to roll, and he stayed on. Well, except when he hit a bump. The End.

Lost Curly Tail

This is my first curly tail ever. He was too fast for me to catch. Then my dog picked the lizard up by the tail. Then the lizard bit my dog's nose and he flung the lizard into the air. The lizard's tail came off. I luckily caught the lizard. Wow, that was quite an adventure!

The Lizard in My Backyard

This is a brown anole I found in my backyard. These lizards are so neat. When their tails are cut off they grow back. It is so cool to see these lizards in my backyard. I like to keep them as pets. My mom only lets me keep them outside. I wonder why. Maybe because they would be crawling on the walls.
